What you think and believe, and how that causes you to act, LITERALLY creates your your experience in every single moment.
This most frequently gets peddled as woo-woo manifestation or whatever most of the time, but it’s also science. At its most basic, it’s confirmation bias - what you expect to see, is what you see. What you expect to get, or how you expect to feel - is what you get and feel. As long as what you think and feel stays the same - so does what you attract and create in your life.
Have you ever:
- Had “one of those days” where you woke up late, spilled your coffee, everyone in traffic was extra douchey, and the day just kind of rolled on and every little thing that could annoy you kept turning up? Because you EXPECTED to feel annoyance? And so you GOT IT?
- Gone into a conversation with someone in your life who you have strong opinions about, thinking “so-and-so is ALWAYS like xyz and we ALWAYS disagree about abc”...and guess what? That is EXACTLY what happens. No matter what you or they say, or the alignment of the stars AND the moon...EVERY conversation with Janet turns out the SAME (aka no bueno.)
- Got an idea about something new you wanted to create or do, and suddenly information about it is EVERYWHERE? Maybe you start seeing ads, resources, or other people talking about this new idea of yours like, everywhere? And it definitely wasn’t even on your radar yesterday?!
Sound familiar?
This is confirmation bias in action. This is you getting back exactly what you expect, and what you put out there. It can be totally freeing, and also a bit unnerving to realize this is what’s ALWAYS going on in your life.
Your mind can be your best ally, or your worst enemy.
So HOW do you turn it into your best ally? I’m here to help you do exactly that.
I want you to be able to:
- Ride the waves of uncertainty, happiness, sadness, anxiety, stress and #allthethings of life confident that you’re a solid, steady human who can feel the feels and enjoy the journey
- Live your life, and CREATE your life with the intention and knowledge that you can have whatever you want and feel however you want to feel
- Have the tools to choose and tweak your experience along the way as you and your desires change and grow
If you never actively learn or practice how to CHANGE how you think and feel - you just keep on getting more of the same. It’s why things may externally LOOK different but you still FEEL the same (and it’s not how you really want to feel, is it?) 99% of the time.
This is why it can feel like you’re “doing all the work” to have things turn out differently...but they aren’t actually. Maybe new habits don’t stick for very long (stay off social media, move more, eat different, create every day, share every day), you find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships, or getting the same results in your business (the not-quite-good-enough ones) and it’s SUPER. ANNOYING.
The Good News
You CAN ditch the old, unproductive thoughts and beliefs that keep you doing the same old, unproductive actions and having the same #ugh-inducing feels and unproductive results.
Because here’s the thing: changing your thoughts changes your behaviour which changes your habits which changes EVERYTHING (so it’s kiiiiind of a big deal.)
This all works because of this thing called “neuroplasticity” (maybe you’ve heard of it) where your literal, actual PHYSICAL BRAIN can change, with a little bit of effort in the right places.
And when your physical brain changes, it won’t feel like such an effort to wake up every day with better energy, to focus on your creative work or the tasks that are most important to you, or to approach something that feels like a challenge with the optimism that it will turn out for the best.
Knowing that you CAN attract and create whatever you want for your life won’t feel like a vague idea that other people are always talking about, once you’ve spent some time actually DOING IT yourself. Because you’ll build up that habit for yourself, and have literally solidified that pathway in your brain so it’s easier to to again, and again (and gets even EASIER each time you do it!)
That, my friend, is exactly why I’ve created UNLEASH.
I want to spend 11 days with YOU, and a group of other badass creative humans who WANT to live with intention - and make the habit of doing so actually STICK.
Because once you make noticing the old, same, unhelpful thoughts and choosing to replace them with new, intentional ones a priority and a HABIT - you guessed it, feeling GOOD becomes a habit too, and then THAT will start to snowball and big. things. will. change.
I want to teach you everything in my toolbox that I’ve been using on the daily for a few years now, to turn my brain into this VERY different brain than it used to be. Which has turned me into a VERY different human than I used to be.
I was asked recently what the “best time period of my life was” and I almost surprised myself when I said RIGHT NOW. Because I’ve never been happier, more optimistic, more sure that I can be, do, and have whatever I want in my life, or been more confident that whatever life happens to throw at me - I can get through it with a relatively steady disposition, and come out the other side just fine.
Which is not to say there aren’t still stressful things in my life, but because of my toolbox of daily meditation, mindset, and inquiry practices I am able to adapt to stress, change, and uncertainty and KNOW that I can happily make it through whatever challenges I set for myself.
This has allowed me to have some seriously incredible experiences over the last few years.
I have:
- Moved to and built a life in 5 cities in 5 years because I wanted to (London, NYC, Vancouver, the Yukon, and small island of 10,000 people in BC)
- Changed careers from chef to self-taught web designer + developer running my own design business, over the course of a year
- Realized I am better suited to business + mindset coaching, closed my design business and started this new one
- Quit drinking, numbing, and distracting myself and instead focused on taking control of my own health + fitness, and can safely say I’m stronger, healthier, and more energetic at 35 than I was at 25 or ANY other time in my life
I was able to have all these incredible nomadic adventures and creative pursuits work out for me BECAUSE I have a toolbox of daily practices to get through it all - there is literally nothing I decide I want at this point that I won’t find SOME way to create, attract, and also enjoy the process of creating and experiencing.
THAT is my wish for you, and what I am teaching in UNLEASH.
I’m taking everything I’ve learned studying and practicing Buddhist meditation and kundalini yoga over the last 5-10 years, as well as the creative habits and practices I’ve learned, tested, and tweaked over almost ten years being a writer and entrepreneur - and I’m smooshing it together for YOU just the way it’s smooshed together to make up the core of the daily intentional, meditative, and creative practices that keep me happy, curious, adventurous, and courageous enough to continue to create life exactly how I most want it to be (and feel.)

What we’ll practice + learn together:
- WHY you should be getting to know your mind and it’s contents better - solidify a personal reason for you to come back to if/when old habits re-emerge
- How to identify your inner critic, name it, and gain distance from its hold over you so you can create and live with more ease
- Short daily practices to promote focus, re-set you if you feel distracted at any time during the day
- Why gratitude practices actually work, and how to tweak this to feel good and meaningful to you personally, and increase your overall happiness
- Why most affirmation practices are total bullshit, and what to do instead that actually WORKS to change your thoughts for the better
